If you'd like to attend the Salons you'll need to join Second Life for a one-time fee of $9.95. Note, you must have a credit card and be at least 18 years old. Click here for the sign-up page. (The first seven days are free, so hopping in and hopping out is an option for the mildly curious.) My SL name is SNOOPYbrown Zamboni, and you can list me as a referrer to be automatically added to my friends list.
If you plan to attend the first Salon you must RSVP to me at jerrypaffendorf(at)accelerating(dot)org. There are limits to how many users can congregate in one location (we're capping the the first week's list at 50), but if you drop me a line in time we'll be sure to save you a seat and let you know how to get to the Salon location.
