SL Future Salon Meet-Up *TODAY* - Party at Csven's!
There's going to be a Future Salon meet-up in Second Life today at 5:30 PM PST (Thursday, April 21st). If you're interested in the Second Life Future Salon that's happening next week and want to learn more, or if you're coming to the Salon and are new to SL, come on in for the meet-up, say Hey, ask some questions, and get the quiver out of your Second Legs.
We'll be meeting at la casa de Csven (pictured to the left). Csven (also pictured to the left) is much newer to SL than I am, and knows much more about building than I do :-) He's got a nice place on the shore featuring images of his real life industrial design work. Csven is author of the reBang blog, and I've invited him here as a guest author as well, so you'll probably see a post or two from him in the days and weeks ahead.
To get to the meet-up just enter Second Life and click on the "Events" tab. The meet-up will be listed as an event at 5:30 PM PST. To get to the meet-up location, click the "People" button at the bottom of the screen, type in SNOOPYbrown Zamboni (my SL name), and then IM me and I will teleport you over. It's easy. (Csven's house is too far from a regular teleporter to teleport directly without an IM; he's a frontier's man!...well, until development catches up :-)
