SLCC Shout-Outs (Organizers, Volunteers, Donors, Media, and Sponsors)

The first Second Life Community Convention went down in a major way at the New York Law School this past Sunday. Before a full post on the event, I'd like to thank the rest of the organizational team and our amazing volunteers, donors, and sponsors. I can't say it enough: without their generous support this could not have happened.

I didn't know *any* of them before we started working on this less than three months ago, and met three of them for the first time *at* the event, which I think is pretty amazing.

At the podium I'm saying: "Hey, that fairy watching us inworld matches my tie!" :-)

A shout out to all the speakers, of course. You can find a list at http://slconvention.com/agenda - I was really impressed with the quality of the speakers. I'm really proud of the great job the volunteers did, with very little supervision. Many just showed up and said, "Can I help?"
