SL Future Salon April 30! :: Machinima with Paul Marino and Pierce Portocarrero

For our April SL Future Salon, we will be exploring the wonderful world of machinima!  Paul Marino and Pierce Portocarrero will be joining us in order to discuss this exciting narrative medium.

Paul Marino is Executive Director and co-founder of the Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences, and author of 3D Game-Based Filmaking: The Art of Machinima.  His blog can be found here: Thinking Machinima. 

Our very own Pierce Portocarrero is responsible for bringing us the Ideal World documentary, following the second life of Nephilaine Protagonist. Pierce's passion for machinima is infectious!  After having spoken with him, I'm firmly convinced that machinima is even better then the development of sliced cheese!  More of his work can be found on Vimeo.

This Future Salon will be held on April 30th at 5:00pm SL time on the Electric Sheep Companies newest island: Media Island.

I heard this was postponed for today, May 25th....any news on this? Pierce is an amazing machinima artist and he tells me he's shooting a ton of footage.
