Accelerating Change 2005 Registration and ATimes Discount

Wow. Time flies. This ASF Community Director only just finished sweeping the floor from last year's conference and we've already opened up registration for Accelerating Change 2005, happening September 16-18 at Stanford University. The theme of this year's conference is Artificial intelligence ("AI") and Intelligence amplification ("IA"): AI, broadly defined, improves the intelligence and autonomy of our technology. IA empowers human beings and their social, political, and economic environments. As in previous years, a collection of today's most broad-minded, multidisciplinary, and practical change leaders will consider these twin trends from global, national, business, social, and personal foresight perspectives.

Speakers so far include Ray Kurzweil, Vernor Vinge, Joi Ito, Blake Ross (co-creator of Firefox) and a bunch of other equally amazing and insightful people with more to come (40+ presenters in all). We'll also have full-day Future Academy Tutorials this year, including a session on Second Life led by SL's VP of Product Development, Cory Ondrejka. Well, you can't beat that.
